Love, Death & In Between: new album out now, old school solid rock on top!
DeWolff loudly does its very own sort of southern rock. But then this pack does hail from the south of The Netherlands, though it also travels – even as support-act for the likes of Toto – around quite a bit of the world.
Thundering “three-headed rock 'n roll monster from the Netherlands” we read back on the first visit to AB in 2018. Raised on a diet of Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Leon Russel, Allman Brothers, Led Zeppelin... Been drifting around for about fifteen years, while the brothers Pablo (guitar and vocals) and Luka (drums) van de Poel were then only 13 and 15 years old, then with Robin Piso on the Hammond organ… he was 17 at least!
Now having completed ‘Love, Death & In Between’ on the alert Mascot label.
For fans of? See above, plus The Black Keys, Deep Purple, Ten Years After (for all of whom they were support act). Roger Glover and Seasick Steve are apparently already fans too!
