None less than Earl Sweatshirt helped to launch Curry’s career. After the release of his second mixtape, King of the Mischievous South Vol. 1 (Underground Tape 1996), Curry’s music received the attention of the likes of Earl Sweatshirt, Tyler, The Creator and the entire Odd Future gang. He was also often mentioned on various sorts of media, which gave his career a big boost. Thanks Earl!
