Gazelle L’Hafla had the honour of imagining this year’s edition of Outrageous at AB From day one, we wanted to stay true to the concept while bringing our own twist, our SHATA MATA twist.

SHATA MATA is a Moroccan term used to describe fierce and loud women who are not afraid to take up space, to intimidate, to scare, and to fascinate. Our SHATA MATA is a loving homage to trans women of North African and Arab origins, for whom public space has too often been taken away or denied.
