The 25-year-old singer-songwriter Orlane explores everyday stories—often her own—that serve as a reminder that life, even when fully embraced, is far from a calm river.

Poetic, rich in metaphors, and inspired by French literature, Orlane’s writing captivates with both its fluidity and depth. She also perceives colors in sounds and melodies—a phenomenon known as synesthesia, where two senses are naturally linked. Some people associate scents or tastes with words; for Orlane, it’s colors that come to mind.

She performed in our AB Balroom on May 15, but it’s clear that this won’t be Orlane’s last appearance at AB. In a Locker Room Session, she performs Tout Perdu!
