Do you live in a remote area and have to drive all the way to AB – or don’t even have a car? Why not try Slinger, the carpool tool that makes life easier?
Slinger makes sharing rides easy and fun. Not with strangers, but with other fans or like-minded people. A single journey or a return journey. You invite your lift sharers; Slinger takes care of the rest. Fewer cars means lower emissions, and you get to share the costs too.
How does Slinger work?
- Go to the page for the concert you’re attending. At the bottom left of this page, there is a widget where you can make your selection.
- Do you want to share a ride? Request a ride, even if there aren't any options available from your pickup point yet! We will then keep you informed of the options available.
- Do you want to offer a ride? Enter your details and you’ll be notified if someone wants a lift. You can then decide for yourself whether to accept or not.
How much will my ride cost, or how much will I receive?
Make sure you agree in advance exactly how the costs will be shared. You can also offer or get a lift for free. We’ll provide one drink token per driver too, which you can collect from the box office on the evening of the concert.
Is Slinger safe?
Absolutely. Exchange contact details in advance and agree on a pickup point in a public place. It also makes sense to share your journey details with someone you know.
