You experience music everywhere these days, and more so than ever online. The internet is bursting with talented makers who express their passion for music creatively. AB is backing a project (with the great help of Samsung) to give creators the chance to develop their talents. The same thing is currently taking place with young musicians and photographers.
4 talented young content creators are given the task of putting out surprising video stories via our social media. In front of or behind the scenes, in or around AB, the playground is vast. In doing so, they are supported and guided by the AB Team.
During the course of the project, custom workshops are organised in collaboration with WAJOW Talent Factory, the talent platform of Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah.
The youngsters each receive a brand new Samsung S22 and a fee per assignment.
The first batch of videographers was selected in collaboration with the organisers of Point of U, the WAJOW festival for young video creatives. We proudly welcome Hind, Jonathan, Molly and Laura to our team. Meet them!
Hind Lamsakam: “Hello! My name is Hind Lamsakam. I’m 21. Young, creative and always on the look out for new experiences. I have a passion for film, graphic design and music. I studied film and am currently completing studies in communication. I already have quite a few projects under my belt, including short films, music videos and advertisements.”
Jonathan De Grefte: “I’m Jonathan, 18-years-old and head over heels in love with music. I released my first album this year (Memento Mori) and am now mega hyped to capture artists at the coolest venue in Belgium. I love playing with cameras and making creative content, anything as long as it has to do with music :)”
Molly Tchiamala: “Wassup! My name is Molisho Tchiamala a.k.a. Molly. I’m 25. Passionate about music, dance, films, and art. I studied Brand Management and Marketing. In the past, I filmed a small documentary about K-Pop lovers. And later I want to work on bigger projects (it’s a secret ;))”
Laura Van den Eede. “I’m Laura and I’m 18. Since I was little, I’ve constantly been creating images in all sorts of ways. I’ve only just moved to Brussels to study film at LUCA. About 2 years ago, I started making music videos and that was how I discovered my passion for film. By the winning a competition (Point of U), I now get to make content for AB for a year. I’m mega excited to get this opportunity, together with a great team of young people. The 13-year-old me would be super proud of the strides I’ve already made so far.”
