On Sunday, January 19, Voetvolk closes the chapter of ‘Into the Open’ where it all began: at AB.

When Voetvolk debuted in AB in 2022, ‘Into the Open’ delivered an explosive response to the silence of the pandemic: pure energy and collective release.
Four dancers and three musicians push each other to the limit, accompanied by a mix of krautrock and beats.
The magic didn’t just happen on stage but also in the audience. Performers and spectators became one. The work received widespread acclaim: Focus Knack named it one of the best theater pieces of 2022, and Voetvolk dazzled at festivals like the Feeërieën and Pukkelpop.

Now, ‘Into the Open’ returns to where it all began for one final performance.
