Brussels is buzzing with students making, curating, producing and organizing around music. Tracks are born at night in dorm rooms, DJ sets are tested at sleepovers and ideas for collectives linger in notebooks.
From the energy of young musicians and music fans and the need for more space to experiment, AB Lab was born.
With AB Lab, we want to create a space within AB where music can evolve: a playground for live music, DJ sets, hybrid formats and new ideas. A place to test, collide and adjust, without having to focus on perfection.
Over the coming months, the AB Lab team (Maïsha, Ine, Ruben, Lise, and Olly) will take you along in the development. Through the AB Lab newsletter, Instagram and TikTok, we’ll share open calls, events, and ways to get involved.
