In 2018, when BRDCST invited Texan experimental synth duo Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein – known for their intriguing Stranger Things soundtrack – we never expected live soundtracks would become a regular feature of the festival.
Since 2024, we’ve been teaming up with our neighbours over the road at Arthouse Cinema Palace for film screenings accompanied by live soundtracks. Past performances include legendary Hungarian metal vocalist Attila Csihar, who provided the music for Nosferatu (F.W. Murnau), Mattias De Craene (MDC III), who played with The Holy Mountain (Alejandro Jodorowsky) and flute player Jozef Van Wissem, who did justice to The Fall of the House of Usher (Jean Epstein).
