Then you’re who we’re looking for. Together with ENTREE (the youth clubs of Brussels) – AB is organising DJ workshops for beginners. Over five sessions, you will learn the ins and outs of DJ-ing, the basic knowledge and basic techniques. You will also learn now to best throw yourself onto the turntable market.

So, you are:

• FLINTA* between the ages of 16 and 24.
• Available on 5 Wednesdays as of March 22, between 7pm and 9pm
• Prepared to head down to Jeugdhuis De Branding (in Jette)

Rrita Jashari is a maker and shaker shaping the Brussels scene. Whether she's co-running 54KOLAKTIV and 54 Sound, the eclectic collective which brought soundsystem culture to the Belgian capital, programming the agenda for mythical venue VK, digging - vinyl - curates or hosting her bi-monthly show at Kiosk Radio, she is a certified icon of the city's sonic landscape.

This Belgo-Kosovar is a lover of dutty basslines and unexpected beats, effortlessly blending rap, global rhythms, UK dubstep and West Indian basslines to make rough-and-tumble mixes. A champion of feminine energy.

• Session 2 on 29/03: Material (+ basic techniques)
• Session 3 on 05/04: Self promo, communication and music industry (+ basic techniques) 
• Session 4 on 12/04: Self-confidence and fun (+ basic techniques)
• Session 5 on 19/04: Vinyl and intro to producing (+ basic techniques)
