Maker of the Amélie Poulain soundtrack presents new work.

The soundtrack that French musician/composer Yann Tiersen wrote for ‘Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain’ (’01) made him instantly famous. Rightly so too! Aside from his many soundtracks – see also: ’Good bye, Lenin!’ – he considers this latest album ‘∞’ to be his 8th piece of studio work. Although you can't take that ‘studio’ reference too literally, as Tiersen recorded the album in various places... (read: islands) such as the Faroe Islands, Reykjavik (Iceland) and Ouessant, the island on the coast of Brittany where he lives.

Tiersen presents his latest issue in a series of prestigious venues like L’Olympia (Paris), Royal Festival Hall (London) and our very own AB too. It's been since '05 already that Tiersen last performed for a full house here.
