A new generation crooner from Antwerp
Simon started as a rapper, but has since evolved into a crooner of the new generation. His debut album Zoveel Nog Te Doen (2022) tackled heavy themes with a light, comforting touch, earning him a devoted fanbase.
This autumn, his long-awaited second album drops, showcasing once again his unique blend of genres and sharp songwriting. This year, the Boterhammen In Het Park audience will get an exclusive preview of his new material, ahead of the album release show at De Roma in October.
Flemish popstar presents intimate Dutch-language songs
Emma Bale has won numerous awards throughout her career, including the MTV Europe Music Award for Best Belgian Act and the MIA for Best Female Solo (as the youngest artist ever!). Her music is a mix of dreamy pop, neo soul and indie, making it a perfect match for fans of Clairo and Olivia Dean.
Her latest album features a few surprising Dutch-language tracks, and then there is her cover of Gorki’s Soms vraagt een mens zich af, a tribute to Luc De Vos. Especially for ‘de Bokes’, Emma will perform a set with mainly Dutch-language songs from her album 333.
