Brutal Australian deathcore from hell!

Concert

Anyone who comes up with song titles like ‘Doomed From Birth’, ‘The Purest Strain Of Hate’ and ‘Reign Of Darkness’ and calls their second album ‘Hate’ can hardly be called a cheerful chap. Brutal Australian deathcore, gutsily concocted by the five from Thy Art Is Murder since 2006. Leading German label Nuclear Blast (Carcass, Decapitated, Meshuggah) though so too and picked up the angry Aussie’s with ‘Hate’ as first feat.

Producer Will Putney (Miss May I, The Amity Affliction, Poison The Well) took a seat behind the mixing console and was surely blown from his stool by the barrage of searing guitar riffs, flipped-out fast drum parts (that double kick-drum!) and guttural vocals from hell that Thy Art Is Murder have patented. Mosh-alert in Brussels!
