This British Beatles tribute band exists since 1980 and has performed almost 5.000 times their versions of classics like ‘I Want To Hold Your Hand’, ‘Get Back’ and ‘I Feel Fine’ to perfection. With a little help from images of the past, The Bootleg Beatles take the audience on a trip through the Fab Four’s history. A multimedia extravaganza that starts in the smoky pubs of Liverpool and ends with the legendary mini concert on the rooftop of their Apple record label in London in 1969.

This band found its origin in the cast of the popular West End musical ‘Beatlemania’. Mid 90’s their big breakthrough came when they performed at the legendary Glastonbury festival after which the Gallagher brothers invited them to open the big Oasis outdoor concerts that summer. These shows made them popular on a very large scale, an achievement which is unusual for a tribute band?

Their performances are so convincing that they are the only ones allowed to us the image of The Beatles. As George Harrison himself once said: “The Bootleg Beatles probably know the music better than I do”.

For the first time ever the legendary Bootleg Beatles are coming to Brussels, and this on April 25th 2013 for a concert at the AB.
