Surfing his way back to AB: our global eco-idol!
Xavier Rudd makes his return with “Walk Away”, it’s a colourful new single and the forerunner of a brand new album and associated tour. The Australian singer will stop by Brussels again, of course, for a concert in the AB on Saturday 22 September!
Xavier Rudd has acquired countless fans all over the world since 2002, when he released his solo debut ‘To Let’. His music is sincere and moving, and takes the listener along on a journey of discovery through the Australian bush, in search of his aboriginal roots. His songs are drenched in a mix of cultures. That is evidenced by his discography – soon to be ten studio albums strong! – but also by the exceptionally warm and spontaneous live shows. His latest single “Walk Away” – produced by Chris Bond (Ben Howard, Tom Speight) and mixed by Tim Palmer (Pearl Jam, David Bowie, U2) – sets the tone for his upcoming album ‘Storm Boy’, which should be in stores this year. The ideal opportunity to see this born musician with a cast iron reputation at work again. See you on Saturday 22 September in the Ancienne Belgique!
