Belgian blues hero launches new album
On ‘Elsewhere Bound’, his fifth album, Tiny Legs Tim swaps the acoustic intimacy of previous album ‘Melodium Rag’ for an expanded line-up with a richly coloured sound. Think: steaming brass, sweltering percussion and honky-tonk piano, though his authenticity remains. The musical impressions that he gathered during a trip to New Orleans are clearly to be heard. He fuses blues, soul, rumba and americana with the original blues vibe and, increasingly, refines his own style from it.
