Launch of the long-awaited 4th studio album 'To Believe'

The Cinematic Orchestra, the British band surrounding Jason Swinscoe has been around for 20 years now and has taken on many projects in that time. From own studio albums, to soundtracks for films & remixes, from concerts in prestigious venues like The Royal Albert Hall and the Barbican Centre to collaborations with top artists like Patrick Watson and Moses Sumney… the list is long and impressive. On March 15 will be be the release of their long-awaited 4th studio album “To Believe”, again via Ninja Tune. The artwork was made by The Designers Republic™ who we also know through Autrechre and Aphex. Which mixes of style can we expect? We don’t know. But one thing is sure: TCO is always top-notch!

The new single ‘A Caged Bird/Imitations of Life’ features Roots Manuva and is already a preview of the upcoming album! The Belgian crowd is actually lucky, cause their tour will kick-off right here in AB!

Response

People seated all over the stairs, between the rows of chairs, although the signs there said not to sit there! AB needs to do better!!!

Decent concert but could have been much better. Sound mixing way too loud, especially for the vocals, could not distinguish most of the time the lyrics. Plus indeed, the high frequencies were overwhelming. Very little engagement with the public, cold, aseptic presentation. No human emotion. A pity.

Tegenvallend.
