deBuren hebben Oren
AB and deBuren, the Flemish-Dutch house of culture & debate, now work together to present a series of tasteful afternoon concerts. Music, sandwiches and soup, right near De Munt / La Monnaie, in the heart of Brussels Read: the perfect lunch break. For this third afternoon concert we’re going to grab a breath of fresh air for lunch, with Zandland.

Zandland
Jazz, and also a bit of cabaret, with Dutch-language lyrics is what we can expect with this new musical project from Niels Boutsen (also known as singer-songwriter Stoomboot) and saxophonist Marjan Van Rompay. Whereas Stoomboot’s starting point is the lyrics, Zandland begins with sultry and melancholy melodies blown by Van Rompay.

(Time Out, radio 1)
