Unique Brussels musician launches his new album
We know Brussels resident David Poltrock mostly as an established musician and producer, but also from his many collaborations.Ā He made a series of instrumental compositions under his own name āPoltrockā, ranging from intimate and minimal piano pieces via dark and moody ambient soundscapes to energetic electronic club-tracks.
The core is always a rather unique instrumentarium: mechanically modified pianos (the so-called āprepared pianoā), modular analogue synthesizers, samplers and strings.Ā All the tracks came into being during nocturnal improvisations and jams in 'The Poltrock Palladium', the Brussels studio where Poltrockās impressive collection of old and contemporary electronica instruments has its own place.
āMutesā will be out on 29 March 2018: the first part of the trilogy āMutes, Moods & Machinesā.
