LUXEMBOURG SOUNDS LIKE… brings new and fresh music from Luxembourg

LUXEMBOURG SOUNDS LIKE… brings new and fresh music from Luxembourg to your eyes and ears. The aim of this promotional event is to present artists from Luxembourg to local and international music professionals, media and audience.

SAY YES DOG (electro-pop)
Say Yes Dog is embarking on the next step: a major one being the release of their debut album “Plastic Love” recorded by Ash Workman (Metronomy, Christine and the Queens, …). Expect enticing electronic pop filled to the brim with clever hooks, funky bass lines and some melancholic touches. The trio like to say their music is “straightforward and goes straight to the heart and legs”!

Next Big Thing. Noisey / Vice
If you like Hot Chip, you’ll love this lot. The Guardian

Mutiny On The Bounty's unique trademark oscillates between a perfect balance of rock and electronic music. Their sound can be linked to the complexity of Battles, the energy from And So I Watch You From Afar or the pop-appeal of Foals. The band has played over 500 shows all over Europe/US and gained a solid and powerful live presence. MOTB are no longer just an insiders' tip!

In short, if you like music, breathing or enjoy the luxury of living; You’ll probably like this album. VANGUARD ONLINE

In 2003, LCD Soundsystem blew up at Primavera by word of mouth alone. Mutiny on the Bounty may well follow in their footsteps…from the moment the band took the stage until long after they finished playing no one could take their eyes off of them.

FOX (rock)
Inspired by the sound of rock music history, mostly from the 60’s and 70’s, Fox writes classic rock songs with catchy pop themes. Imagine a shimmering oasis above a desert road on a hot lazy sunny summer’s day. A light breeze kicks up a swirl of dust as old Chevrolet drives by. That’s where you’ll find Fox music somewhere between modern and classic rock, pop and indie music, and therefore for many it’s a surprise to learn that the guys all hail from Luxembourg.
