Double Bill with 2 solo-electronica projects

Jung An Tagen is one of the many monikers of Austrian artist Stefan Juster. As the most important musical act working within Virtual Institute Vienna, his musical language is strongly linked to video art. By the use of subtractive synthesis & sample techniques, JAT constructs repetitive figures, polyrhythmic moirés and variable musical series that focus upon very specific sound timbres.

Following releases on the likes of NotNotFun, Blackest Rainbow and 100% Silk, a new album is now to be released on the Editions Mego label at the end of October.

Ensemble Economique is the solo-project of California’s Brian Pyle. We recognize little of the sunny vibes of this West Coast state in his music though. Quite the opposite, in fact. With EE, Pyle creates a dark, drone-driven,’80s darkwave & goth-influenced music that grabs you by the scruff of the neck.
Pyle has already released more than 20 albums on labels like Not Not Fun, Dekorder, Shelter Press and Denovali Records
