Global blues double-bill

This evening has now become a real global blues-rock event, a double-bill with as opener Les Filles de Illighadad. They have been popular in AB since a previous edition of BRDCST. At the time, we read: ‘Frisse Toeareg-energie tussen trance en traditie’ (Gonzo Circus).

A super agile and impelling blues-trio from Guadeloupe in the Caribbean. Maybe even intensely experienced already at the Gentse Feesten, Deep In The Woods, The Great Escape (NL), Global Fest (NYC)...? Or maybe you saw frontman Pascal Danaë play with Peter Gabriel and Morcheeba, before he resolutely chose his Creole roots and from then on, rightly, opted for the Dobro guitar, plus drums and a sousaphone!

The band has now completed CD 'Mo Jodi' via Pias, and the title apparently means 'I die today'.
