It all started for the band in 2011, when Belgium discovered SX thanks to the superb single ‘Black Video’. Since then, they’ve scored a golden album for debut ‘Arche’, blown away pretty much every club they’ve played – as well as Rock Werchter and Pukkelpop, by the way – and single after single became a hit (‘Gold’ ! ‘Graffiti’ ! ‘The Future’ !).

Earlier this year, stunning new single ‘Hurts’ led the way for EP Alpha that was released on March 11. The remarkable thing is that the album sounds so much more mature, with classy electronica, intense abstract percussion and deep, powerful vocals. How they made the leap from very new to mature band is something that will be discussed in a revealing Artist Talk with Stefanie Callebaut – madam SX – and Kurt Overbergh, Artistic Director of AB.
