Blow the roof off with ADTR's melodious metalcore/punk!
One welcoming whop in the metal mouth! A Day To Remember - our favourite ‘mishmash’ of metal, hardcore and pop-punk - will be putting out new work at the end of this year. They certainly return to the roots of hard metal with forerunner ‘Violence (Enough is Enough)’: thrashing guitars, incessant double bass drum and goading, marrow-chilling screams.
After their successful fourth album ‘What Seperates Me From You’, headline shows all over the globe and a support tour in the wake of Rise Against in homeland US, the Floridians led by screamer Jeremy McKinnon are ready for big things. Following their visit to the main stage of Rock Werchter, the guys from A Day To Remember will magically transform AB into the mecca of melodious metalcore for the fourth time in just as many years – they like it here, that's for sure!
We'd like to welcome them in an appropriate manner: let's all blow the roof off! That's no more than ‘Common Courtesy’ (which also happens to be the name of their new album) for a catch like A Day To Remember.
Everytime I Die
F*ck yeah! Metalcore legends in tha house! Everytime I Die, with the Buckley brothers amongst the ranks, give it their best again on the new, already sixth, longplayer ‘Ex Lives’. Brutal metalcore, with dizzying speeds that tend in the direction of punk and mathcore. Already sat on a tour bus with Killswitch Engage, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Parkway Drive and In Flames, and now they draw attention with ADTR. How appropriate too… it surely will be a day to remember!
The Story So Far
Phenomenal Californian punk as opener of what looks like being a memorable night! The Story So Far came, saw and conquered at Groezrock ‘13 with an edgy set that set the tent ablaze. Their second longplayer ‘What You Don’t See’ is bursting with catchy punk songs that palpably party. The ideal warmer-upper!
