Canadian punkers present new album.
Toronto’s upbeat quattro PUP doesn’t take itself too seriously. They also make their ambitions in life clear, with song titles such as ‘My Life Is Over and I Couldn’t Be Happier’, ‘Never Try’ and ‘Can’t Win’. In the wake of bands like Weezer and Wheatus, they don’t overrate themselves (but they more than make up for that with cast-iron songs). The band will now be putting out their 3rd studio album in March and expectations are again high (or is it low?). Be sure not to worry too much about what anyone else thinks of you and come dance & bellow along to PUP!

“PUP's second album is a glorious half-hour of redlining guitars and pile-on group chants that turn self-loathing and self-deprecation into a sort of superpower.” – Pitchfork“Toronto punks give geek rock a noisy upgrade” – NME
