Tom Misch

+ Laura Misch

Facebook event Share Tweet

Back in the Box, with first 'groovy full CD' (after that funky full Club.)

'Real funky live inventive lounge vibe' as it were: subtle driving beats, fine sounds and attractive images. Tom Misch is a young British twenty-something, at home in the 'London Beat Scene', and he has a 'love for beautiful chord progression.' This multi-instrumentalist sometimes does his vocal thing with Carmody, Loyle Carner, Kwabs, his sister Laura... Has now completed his first full CD!

For fans of See above, plus Patrick Watson, Sam Wills, Kaytranada, James Holden... Gilles Peterson (and vice versa)... up to and including Stevie Wonder, Steely Dan and other fine, tight funkateers... Novelist, Zak Abel... J Dilla etc!

Freq. your review is nonsense. Too loud but you could not hear drums or bass. Almost s joke right ?? That only leaves the keyboards and toms guitar and vocal being too loud. The gig is Tom Misch and his desired production. Stop leaving reviews until you understand how too review. Fabulous gig in a great venue. Venue has noise limits. If it’s too loud for you personally move away from the speakers ( they are the things Sound come From )

Great concert, sound could've been better but in the middle at the back, with earplugs, I could hear everything quite fine. I danced the whole time!

I agree, unbalanced mix and too loud! All instruments have an important role in his music and some were difficult to hear (drums, bass!, second guitar). Both public and the artist struggled to get into the groove. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the concert. "Follow" was my highlight with Laura Misch playing a very catchy hook on sax.

Thanks for programming this artist! One single problem in my opinion : The sound was too loud ! Why not preserving the ears of your public?
