'Sounds like phosphorescing flora singing to each other after sundown'
You might know Swedish-Finnish composer Marja Ahti from her alter-ego Tsembla – as which she could be seen live pretty much all over Europe and the US in recent years.
She created the most wonderfully poetic, holistic soundscapes on her recently released album ‘Vegetal Natives’, using a battery of analogue synths (Buchla 200, ARP 2600 …), a harmonium, field-recordings and also a few acoustic instruments. She also played at EASTERN DAZE in the Vooruit last year and at the Meakusma Festival.
