‘The next big thing’ in R&B
Kali Uchis was received as ‘the most exciting voice to come out of Virginia since Missy Elliott.’ and she can count Snoop Dogg A$AP ROCKY amongst her fans. The 23-year-old singer released her debut EP ‘Por Vida’ in 2015, on which the likes of Tyler, the Creator, Kaytranada, BADBADNOTGOOD and Caleb Stone were to be heard. Now it’s time to present her first full album, on which she effortlessly combines various genres. She continues to build upon the doo-wop blueprint of ‘Por Vida’, but succeeds in creating an own Uchis sound.
