Belgische première van rapper die haar stijl omschrijft als “hip-hop infused with gospel, jazz, soul and prose” 
 
De uit New York afkomstige en in Berlijn residerende Sorvina is zó ontwapenend dat ze je hart meteen inpalmt. Wie ook maar één minuut de tijd neemt om haar huiskamersessie Live From The Living Room te beluisteren, gaat onbetwist instant voor de bijl. Of ze haar sound in één zin kan omschrijven? “Rooted entirely in the African-American experience, my sound is hip-hop infused with gospel, jazz, soul and prose.” 
 
Live staat Sorvina er steeds met een heuse backing band. Optreden is dan ook haar missie: “Performing is the greatest joy of my life.” In Duitsland deelde ze het podium al met goed internationaal gezelschap als Alabaster DePlume, Moor Mother en Lonnie Holley, wat haar potentieel alleen maar onderstreept.
