De Zuid-Londense postpunkband Dry Cleaning bracht op 9 januari hun derde album Secret Love uit op het gerenommeerde label 4AD.

Het vervolg op New Long Leg (2021) en Stumpwork (2022) ontstond in de repetitieruimte, waar alle vier de bandleden samen schreven, speelden en direct op elkaar reageerden.
Het album groeide verder tijdens inspirerende sessies in Wilco’s studio The Loft in Chicago, en tijdens opnames met Alan Duggan en Daniel Fox van Gilla Band in Dublin. De laatste opnames vonden plaats met Cate Le Bon in Black Box studio in Frankrijk.
