Ancienne Belgique wants to not only be a house of music but also a house of culture, a house from and for the city. How can we achieve this? With you!

Do you want to be part of a completely new concept within Ancienne Belgique? Are you a big music fanatic or are you just looking for a fun way to spend your evening? Do you regularly have a few hours to be part of our team and music house? 

If so, you are the v/x/m we are looking for to work at the bar, as an event host, at the token office and at our festivals.

What exactly do these positions entail?

Bar

Have you always wanted to tap the perfect pint or learn how to pour a delicious fizzy Coca-Cola behind the AB bar? Then you are the bar volunteer we are looking for! Together with an entire team of volunteers, you will ensure a flawless service for our concertgoers. 

Event host

Are you the good-humored kindness in person, even in busy circumstances? Then this position is made for you! You are the person who welcomes and guides our visitors at private events. 

Festivals

Always wanted to help out at a small-scale festival in Brussels? For Boterhammen in het Park and Feeërieën, we are looking for different profiles to perform different tasks. As a volunteer you might work at the bar, keep the grounds clean, act as a steward or man the information booth.

Token volunteer

Are you friendly and good at counting? Then you are the person we are looking for as second person at the token counter during busy concerts. Together with the regular employee, you will be the perfect team to help our visitors.

What profile are we looking for?

• You want to be part of our AB team 
• You are between 18 and 110 years old 
• You can understand and speak basic Dutch, French or English 
• You are enthusiastic, responsible, friendly, helpful and punctual 
• You are flexible and willing to help out in the evenings 
• Living in Brussels is a plus but not a must

In exchange for your efforts within Ancienne Belgique, you will become part of our organisation. There is a whole team ready to guide and welcome you into the wonderful world of Ancienne Belgique. You will get to know our organisation in a different way and be part of an ever-evolving environment. You will also receive a volunteer allowance, save for concerts through a credit system and be welcome at our annual volunteer party.
