Milow’s right-hand man debuts in AB with fourth longplayer!
ConcertTalented guitarist Tom Vanstiphout has been striking the right chords for years, as sidekick to Milow and guitarist with the likes of Clouseau, Kommil Foo and Jan Leyers. But this fall we’ll get to know him a bit better in AB – bearing a brand new (fourth) album – as charismatic frontman and gifted songwriter.
His solo work nestles between James Taylor, Ry Cooder, Ryan Adams and Simon & Garfunkel. And the successor to ‘Little Beams Of Light’ gained form along the way from Nashville, Tennessee to our very own metropolis: Antwerp. A top musician, much appreciated by other Belgian top musicians, and already often mentioned as Belgium’s best kept musical secret. Or, as the great Bart Peeters so finely worded it: “Tom Vanstiphout ‘Guitar/Vocal’, het understatement van het jaar… De smaakvolste, veelzijdigste en volgens mij ook de beste gitarist van het België.“
