Masego's concert at the Ancienne Belgique on Monday 12 February is now sold out. But don't panic, the American prodigy is adding a Brussels date to his tour schedule. His haunting melodies and captivating rhythms will also be heard in the Ancienne Belgique on Tuesday 13 February 2024.

Real name Micah Davis, Masego developed a thirst for musical knowledge at an early age, teaching himself to play the cello, drums, piano and guitar, and later specialising in the saxophone. Now a songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist, Masego mixes genres and creates his own style, which he calls "TrapHouseJazz". In 2017, he made a name for himself thanks to the video of his collaboration with French artist FKJ, "Shadow", which saw the two artists play all the instruments in real time using loops. Buoyed by the success of this hit, Masego released his first official album, the sultry 'Lady Lady', in 2018. Masego then went on to collaborate as a performer and producer with artists from different backgrounds such as VanJess, The Game, Kaytranada, Drake, Yussef Dayes, Kehlani and many others. In 2020, his 'Studying Abroad' EP earned him a Grammy nomination in the 'Best Progressive R&B Album' category. Masego is the sole performer on his eponymous second album, on which he reveals the contours of his life with all the nuances of his vast musical palette.
