Legendary band, live in 2004
BRDCST is AB’s outstanding indoor spring festival spotlighting musical boundlessness. The name is a direct reference to the retro futuristic electronica-pop of the English band Broadcast that released inspiring albums like ‘Haha Sound’ and ‘Noise Made By The People’ over the past decade. Artists who feel strongly about musical innovation form the focal point for BRDCST. Our musical gut feeling will do the rest.
RE~TG ‘Throbbing Gristle live at The Astoria Theatre, London, 16th May 2004’, 93 min
RE~TG is the live recording of the first concert the band played after their legendary ‘Missions of Dead Souls’ concert 23 years previously in San Francisco.
After the members of Throbbing Gristle all went their separate ways with diverse projects in 1981 (Psychic TV, Coil, Chris & Cosey, CarterTutti), they got back together again in 2004 to create an album of new work, ‘TG Now’. Together with that, they will play a unique concert in London.
The concert appeared previously on TGV, the 7-part DVD box, of which 2000 copies were released.
Admittance is free of charge according to the principle of ‘first come, first served.’
This also applies to those with a Limited BRDCST Festival Pass.
