On Saturday, 3 October  our host Bert Kruismans invites you for an inspiring evening about the Social Protection For Everyone campaign. International expert Roberto Bissio will explain the impact of social protection in different corners of the world. Afterwards there will be music: Chicos Y Mendez open the party and the evening is closed with none other than Starflam! Be welcome!
 3/4 of world population lacks access to social protection. At the slightest setback they end up in difficult situations. Nevertheless, everyone is entitled to good health care, a decent living wage and benefits when things get bad.

Main speaker: Roberto Bissio, Director of the Third World Institute, Uruguay, and coordinator of Social Watch. Expert in social trends and in the struggle for a better social protection worldwide.

The group's name refers to Chico Mendes, a Brazilian union leader and environmentalist.
