Shabaka Hutchings, leader de Sons of Kemet et The Comet Is Coming, reprend son saxophone pour « son album le plus punk à ce jour »

Shabaka revient au saxophone sur son dernier album, Of The Earth, qui sort en autoproduction via son tout nouveau label, Shabaka Records. Shabaka : « Cet album est ma célébration de la liberté d’expression créative. Avant la pandémie, je ne savais jouer que de la clarinette et du saxophone et je ne connaissais rien à la production musicale (ni à la flûte), donc cela a été un parcours d’apprentissage et une réflexion sur la musique qui en a résulté. »
 
Le vendredi 25 septembre, Shabaka présentera son nouvel album à l’AB et il reste encore des billets.
