À l’automne 2018, Anna St. Louis – née à Kansas City et basée à L.A. – a sorti son premier album « If Only There Was a River ». Pour cet opus, qui a été couvert de louanges, elle s’est associée aux producteurs Kyle Thomas (King Tuff) et Kevin Morby. Le résultat est un florilège de chansons nostalgiques, où l’on retrouve l’influence d’artistes comme Loretta Lynn, John Fahey et Townes Van Zandt.
