I've recorded deep in the "bible\nbelt" and in the heart of the "money belt".\nNever been to the "borscht belt" but I've\nheard of it. Anyway\, this time around it's Mexico.\nMexico City is like the Rosetta Stone of our own urban\nfuture. I was there couple months back and found a state of\nthe art studio (state of art circa 1958) and fell in love\nwith the place. As the bottom falls out of the big lie here\nat home\, I'll be aiming my telescope backwards from a\nvantage point 7\,000 feet up in the "city of eternal\nspring". And really\, who doesn't like\nspring?'Hmmm\, als de koorts zakt geraakt Chuck hopelijk\nook gezond terug weg uit Mexico City\, want dit is echt niet\nte missen. Met zijn electrische gitaar preekt deze Prophet\nwel zeer oprecht de rock 'n' roll passie. Steeds\ninventief en precies. Sinds 1990 levert hij zijn straffe\nsolo-cd's af\, maar u kent hem hopelijk ook als snedige\nside-man of songleverancier bij Dan Penn\, Solomon Burke\,\nAlejandro Escovedo\, Cake\, Warren Zevon\, Silos (remember\nAB BelleVue Club?) en natuurlijk het goddelijke Green On\nRed. Ondertussen heeft onze dappere artiest in deze - voor\nplatenfirma's - moeilijke tijden\, toch ook nog zijn\neigen label opgericht: (((Belle Records))) (yep\, zo schrijf\nje dat\, met zes haakjes). En na zijn vorige straffe cd\n'Soap And Water'\, plus dat stomende ABClubconcert\nvan 2007\, nu dus terug met zijn Mission Express en zijn\n'Mexico Sessions' (op Cooking Vinyl via V2)En ook\nongelofelijk\, zelfs Chuck Prophet 'twittert'\nvoortaan: 'I am a twittering mother now\,\ntweet-tweet-twiddle-dee-deet.'    EXTRA NEWSFLASHThe\nalbum's new title is 'Let Freedom Ring!' and is\nout on Cooking Vinyl September 7th (Yep Roc in the USA).
