DESCRIPTION:Timber Timbre est un trio de multi-instrumentistes canadien\nformé par Taylor Kirk\, Mika Posen et Simon Trottier. Dans\nune ambiance spectrale\, survolée par l'émouvante voix\nde baryton de Kirk\, leur musique mêle tout autant le\ngospel\, le blues et la country. Nous avions découvert le\ngroupe\, l’an dernier\, avec la parution de son premier\nopus éponyme. Un vrai petit bijou. Son successeur\n'Creep On Creepin' On' est annoncé pour le 4\navril. Dans ce « doux au-delà »\, on\nretrouve notamment son compagnon Phil Wandscher\,\nex-Whiskeytown (l’ancien groupe de Ryan Adams). Ses\noeuvres les plus récentes ont fait l’objet d’une\ncompilation intitulée 'Like\, Love\, Lust & The\nOpen Halls of the Soul' qui - dixit HUMO – « louvoie\nentre une country à la Lambchop et un rock plus cossu\,\ndans la veine du Crazy Horse\, en passant par l’americana\net la country goth plaintives ».
