DESCRIPTION:ƚBM [INSPIRED BY BLACK METAL]    ƚBM s'intéresse\nà l'influence du black metal en 2014 en allant à la\nrencontre de l'actualité brûlante du genre. Ce\nn'est pas un hasard si ce cycle s'inscrit exactement\n30 ans après la naissance du groupe de black metal\nnorvégien Mayhem. Ce n'est pas non plus un hasard\ns'il s'inscrit exactement 20 ans après la sortie de\n« De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas » - l'un des albums black\nmetal les plus influents jamais sortis.         BOHREN &\nDER CLUB OF GORE (d)    Leur nom vient de l'adoration\nqu'ils portent à Gore\, combo instrumental noise et\nhardcore néerlandais depuis longtemps disparu. Ils puisent\nleurs inspirations musicales du côté du black metal\, de\nBlack Sabbath\, de Twin Peaks et du jazz. Pour décrire sa\nmusique\, Bohren préfère opter pour la terminologie «\nhorror jazz »\, alors que l’ambiance black metal est bel\net bien présente – bien qu’insaisissable.L'AB\nn'est pas seule à être fan (ils ont déjà joué chez\nnous en 05 et en 08). Mike Patton l’est aussi\, lui qui\nsort systématiquement chaque album de Bohren (depuis leur\nclassique « Black Earth ») sur son label Ipecac. Leur\nhuitième et dernier album en date s'intitule « Piano\nNights » et sonne selon Pichtfork “the same as their\nseventh\, sixth\, fifth\, fourth\, third\, second\, and\nfirst. The mood is solemn\, the tempos are slow\, and each\nnote carries within it the suggestion that it might be the\nband’s last.” C'est grave ? Absolument pas ! Car\n“it’s a show of commitment to an idea so elegant in its\noriginal design that changing it would constitute\nbetrayal.”
