DESCRIPTION:Le protégé de Xavier Rudd sort enfin un CD et sa tournée\npasse par l'AB.     Ben Howard s'est montré\, à\nplusieurs reprises\, remarquable en première partie de\nXavier Rudd et on a appris à voir en lui ce musicien\nd'apparence fragile mais ô combien unique. Ce surfeur\nbritannique au teint blême se distingue surtout par sa voix\nmélancolique et un étrange jeu de guitare\, à vous donner\ndes frissons. Chacun de ses concerts est venu renforcer\nnotre conviction dans son pouvoir de séduction : aucun\nmélomane ne peut lui résister ! Ben Howard a donc bouclé\nson premier album intitulé 'Every Kingdom' (à\nparaître chez Pias) et après une vaste tournée au\nRoyaume-Uni cet automne\, il fera escale sur le vieux\ncontinent où il n'avait pu se rendre en février 2010\nsuite à un accident de train près de Bruxelles (cette\npetite précision s'adresse uniquement aux fans qui\navaient été profondément déçus à l'époque). Et\nnous terminerons par une de ses déclarations éclatantes de\nfranchise : 'I was brought up in Totnes\, South Devon..\nneatly nestled between the moors and the sea. I travel\nlots\, surf when I can\, probably drink too much\,\ndefinitely think too much\, and at 22 still make irrational\nchoices. I like the outdoors and the Autumn. I'm\nhappiest on the road or at home with friends. Musically I\nstarted playing and writing as a kid and it's maybe the\none thing that's never changed. Mum was a big listener\nto all the greats- the likes of John Martyn\, Joni\nMitchell\, The Rolling Stones\, Simon and Garfunkel\,\nDonovan etc so that's played a big part in my life (Dad\nwas more of a Yes and Pink Floyd man).
