DESCRIPTION:BEAK> feat. Geoff Barrow (Portishead)\, Matt Williams\n(Team Brick) and Billy Fuller (Fuzz Against Junk)   \nBEAK> a été fondé en 2009 par trois musiciens\noriginaires de Bristol : Billy Fuller\, Matt Williams et\nGeoff Barrow\, ce dernier étant essentiellement connu pour\nêtre le producteur et un des musiciens du magistral\nPortishead. Quant à Billy Fuller\, il a fait partie par le\npassé des live bands de Massive Attack et Robert Plant.\nL’éthique de travail de ce nouveau trio est axée sur la\nsimplicité : les morceaux ont été enregistrés live dans\nune seule pièce sans avoir recours au moindre overdub ;\nl'ordinateur a été uniquement utilisé pour la\ncréation des arrangements. Le premier album de BEAK>\nsortira en octobre sur le label Invada de Barrow et en\nnovembre sur le label Ipecac de Mike Patton\, pour les\nEtats-Unis.    La première partie du concert de BEAK>\nsera assurée par le trio Thought Forms. Leur premier album\nest paru sur le label Invada de Geoff Barrow. Le NME a\nécrit à son sujet : 'This debut truly swaggers with\nthe confidence of a band that could look up from its shoes\nand grab you screaming by the throat.' Et Barrow de\ncommenter à son tour : 'They’re raw – almost\ngrungey – but they’ve got that shoegazing thing going on\ntoo.
