Jazz and brass aplenty in AB! Discover the three jazz concerts that you really mustn’t miss.

TUE 13.11.18 - COLIN STETSON: ‘ALL THIS I DO FOR GLORY’Buy tickets

Keep breathing

This American sax player is an expert in circular breathing (he seemingly plays his instrument without pausing for air), plays in the live-bands of Bon Iver and Arcade Fire (amongst others), recently released solo album ‘All this I do for Glory’ and will soon come to present it in an AB Theatre setting. A must-see!

SUN 09.12.18 - JUNGLE BY NIGHTBuy tickets

Danceable jazz

Those who want to see nine musicians set the stage of the AB Club aflame must head down to Brussels on December 9. Jungle by Night brings to life a combination of funk, afrobeat, dub and jazz, with unbelievable energy. Aside from the saxophone, it’s mainly the trumpet that is used to – literally – blow you away.

MON 18.03.19 - TROMBONE SHORTY & ORLEANS AVENUEBuy tickets

Louisiana brass

Trombone Shorty didn’t steal his nickname. As child of a musical family, he was taught trombone… as there were already enough trumpet players in the family.  A born New Orleans musician, he was already performing at the age of five. In March, he comes to AB with a true jazz band.
