At the start of this year, AB launched its Solidarity Ticket campaign. A range of activities have been held to collect donations to allow disadvantaged people and those living in poverty to enjoy a concert at AB.

Over the course of a little more than a year, more than €40,000 was collected. The entirety of this amount goes directly towards Solidarity Tickets: free or discounted tickets for those struggling to make ends meet.  

Because AB wants to continue to combat deprivation, the organisation is expanding its work around the Solidarity Ticket further still. They will work even more closely with Paspartoe/UiTPAS and, by doing so, ensure that all members from Brussels and also Flanders who are eligible for the special rate can access the full AB offering. It enables them to attend concerts at AB for only 20% of the original price. 

AB is also now offering Solidarity Tickets in Wallonia. They have joined forces with Article 27, an umbrella organisation that brings together hundreds of small and large organisations in Wallonia and Brussels. Disadvantaged people who regularly visit these organisations can access the concert venue for the sum of € 1.25. 

Finally, AB works closely with such organisations as HOBO, Globe Aroma, Netwerk Tegen Armoede, ToekomstAtelierTADAA, JES Brussels and D’Broej. The aim of this is to enable as many music lovers as possible with limited means to enjoy an unforgettable concert.
