AB Café will cycle 1000km tegen Kanker with 13 teams

For the sixth year in row, the Flemish anti-cancer organisation organises Kom Op Tegen Kanker's 1000km. From 14 to 17 May, during the Ascention holiday weekend, about 600 teams will be cycling 1000 km to support the battle against cancer, to demonstrate their concern for patients and those around them, and also to do lots of cycling.

AB Café will appear at the start for the sixth year in a row, this year with thirteen teams. Amongst others, a tip top team of Belgian artists and the Flemish minister in charge of them will size themselves up for a cycling outfit with matching helmet in order to support the battle against cancer.

The funds raised by this four-day cycling event will this year go to research into the causes and treatments regarding resistance and therapeutic failure, research to improve the chances of survival and quality of life of cancer patients.

We have to collect € 5000 per team. Help Jan Hautekiet, Rick de Leeuw and Mr Paul onto their bikes. Give Klaas Delrue, Otto Jan Ham and Jan Paternoster a bit of a boost. Support Stef Kamil , Sioen and Tomas De Soete and push Sven Gatz over the line.
Sponsor the AB Café teams by depositing money into the urns at the bars in AB, relinquishing your AB beaker deposit for the campaign, or by making a deposit into the bank account of Kom Op Tegen Kanker: BE14 7331 9999 9983 or 733-1999999-83 (be sure to mention of ‘GIFT’ and the code of our team: 170 003 485).
