DESCRIPTION:Under the title "Pointing the way to new music" AB\nand the eleven music clubs of the Club Circuit get together\nthis concert season for an exciting series. Together\nthey've selected 10 weekends when on each occasion\nanother club will occupy the AB\, while at the very same\ntime the AB goes on location to that visiting club. With\nthis project AB and the Club Circuit want to place some\nextra emphasis on their good relations. We're now able\nto announce the second concert for the exchange between AB\nand the Nijdrop in Opwijk:The 4 members of Monno found one\nanother in 1999 in the experimental music scene in Lausanne\n(the band is currently operating out of Berlin).\n‘Candelight Technology’ was the title of their 2003\ndebut and with the albums ‘Error’ (2004) and\n‘Ghosts’ (2007) their sound evolved from heavy rock\,\nfree jazz and electronica to sludge\, doom and ethereal\ndrones. Just the thing for fans of SunnO)))\, Earth or\nBoris.Zeni Geva\, the Japanese prog-hardcore band of\nsinger-guitarist KK \, may now be referred to as legendary\npioneers. Established in 1987\, they were the first Japanese\nband to find their way to the United States where they\nshared stages with Melvins\, Neurosis and Shellac (Steve\nAlbini is one of their biggest fans). Of their 12 albums (on\nthe likes of Jello Biafra’s Alternative Tentacles and\nNeurosis’ Neurot Recordings) 5 were also produced by\nAlbini.
