With\, for\nexample\, ‘Ce Jeu’ in 2008 (with a cameo from the fine\nbaritone of Jurassic 5’s Chali 2na)\, her 2007 debut\n‘Pop-Up’ and the singles ‘Je Veux Te Voir’ and ‘A\nCause Des Garçons’. Imagine a musical hybrid of lollypop\nand Kelis but then with her beat provider\, DJ Grand Marnier\nbehind the scenes. She also works with such artists as Katy\nPerry and she is currently hard at work in the studio on the\nfollow-up to ‘Pop-Up’. Get a sneak preview at an\nexclusive ABClub on Wednesday 17 November.    Geneva Jacuzzi\nis a protégé of Ariel Pink's (thus providing the\nartwork for his albums) and as such she produced a big-city\nmix of pure electro-pop and sleazy indie-trash. Or: how\nMadonna would sound if she had never made it out of the\ngutters of New York. Personally\, she likes to refer to a\nrather strange period in music history when Morris Day and\nDeBarge topped the hit-lists. Weird and attractive!         \n
