AB is proud to be able to present a night - that will\nonly be stopping in Paris\, London\, Amsterdam\, Berlin and\nBrussels\, - based upon one of the most exciting\nelectronica-labels of the moment: Tri ▼Angle Records. The\n▼sign refers\, in the first place\, to the hip witch house\ngenre. Lets just describe it as a mysterious mix of\nr&b\, dubstep\, electro\, drugs and witchcraft. The term\neven became one of the words to define 2010\, in De Morgen.\nTri ▼Angle Records Records is the flag-bearer of the genre\nand vouches for cast-iron releases from the likes of How To\nDress Well\, Clams Casino\, Ayshay and the following acts\nwho will be present in AB: Balam Acab (us)Balam Acab – a\ngood-natured demon from Mayan mythology - is the alter-ego\nof the young Alec Koone. He impressed with his EP ‘See\nBirds’ from 2010 and his fully-fledged long-player\n‘Wander / Wonder’ was much-appreciated\, all over.\nPitchfork praised them with an impressive 8.2\, Humo threw\nout a *** ½ review and De Standaard wrote: “surprising\ndebut” and described his music appropriately as\n“hypnotizing mists of sound”. oOoOO (us)Behind oOoOO\n(pronounce it: ‘oh’) you will find San Francisco\nresident Christopher Dexter Greenspan\, a disciple of\n‘Untrue’ by Burial. His debut EP of the same name was\nreleased in 2010 and it summons up the mood of Fever Ray and\nSalem. Boomkat wrote of it: “simply one of the most\nextraordinary debut records we've heard in a long\ntime.” Holy Other (uk)We don't actually know who's\nbehind Holy Other\, just yet. Where he lives is anyone's\nguess. Some say Berlin\, others Gothenburg and for the\nmoment we're going for Manchester. He certainly\nimpressed us already with his EP ‘With You’.
