To do so\, he returned to his roots\nand arrives at the end of the year with a sober\nsinger-songwriter album entitled ‘Tom Is Doing Great\nAgain’. Small\, fragile and recorded with 1 microphone in\na dark rehearsal room. A minimum of accompaniment and\neverything reduced to the essence. Yet in 2010 he released\n‘The Truth About That Girl And Me’\, an album on which\nhe received the company of impressive singers like Marie\nDaulne\, Hannelore Bedert and – really – Barbara Dex\,\nwho delivered the wonderful ‘I Am’ with him.Spencer The\nRover or Koen Renders is a jack-of-all-trades. Guitarist\,\npianist\, singer\, mentor and producer of young talent (see:\nKid Fear) but nevertheless\, in the first place and above\nall else\, a pedigree songsmith. ‘The Accident’\, the\nlong awaited Spencer The Rover album has turned out to be a\nsublime masterpiece.                                        \n
