DESCRIPTION:The new The Subs album entitled ‘Decontrol’ will be\nreleased on 28 March. The Subs have performed more than 160\nshows\, spread over 14 countries\, since their impressive\ndebut ‘Subculture’. The starring role was always set\naside for frontman Papillon\, the audience managed to seize\n3 shoes and 2 pairs of trousers during his stage antics.\nWhat's more\, last summer they signed to Partyharders\nfor the summer-hit: ‘The Pope Of Dope’. They've\nspent half of the past 2 years in the studio and so the 11\nsong successor will be in stores soon. This gang from Ghent\nis a sheer electro-rave-punk driven steam-train at top\nspeed. The Subs celebrated 10 Years of Fabric in London with\nthe exclusive digi-single ‘Mitshubitchi’ but also\nreleased the warmly received ‘Vomit In Style’ EP\, with\nremixes by beautiful people like Mixhell\, Don Rimini and\nLes Petits Pilous. They then got together with the latter\nfor the double knock-out ‘My Body Is Gonna\nRemember’/’Rototom’. But they all agree about the most\nimportant step: their revelation as a real\, outright live\nband. ‘Our live reputation is our DNA\, our unique\ncode’. There is room for variation on ‘Decontrol’: the\ntoo-cool for old-school house-bomb ‘Don’t Stop’\, the\nhyper-active rave-jam ‘The Hype’\, the pounding techno\nbeats of ‘The Visible Man’ and the French-film\nsoundtrack inspired ‘Hannibal (And The Battle Of Zama)’.\n‘We make music for the shuffle generation’\, concludes\nPapillon. ‘Decontrol’ contains a little of everything by\nat the same time forms a balanced whole. The album has a\npositive vibe\, I can't wait to transfer that feeling to\nour audience’!                                            \n
